Maksim Cuts In On Marie

                                                       

Cocky Dancing with the Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy is cutting in on competitor Marie Osmonds’ spotlight on the last day of the dance-off before the two ultimate finalists are announced. Never one for holding back, Chmerkovskiy suggested Osmond has only remained this long because of public sympathy and therefore may be eliminated tonight because she’s actually not on par with the remaining competitors.

In an interview with Extra, Maksim said,” Frankly, I think there were a lot of other people better than Marie,” “I know firsthand there are a lot of celebrities on the show that went through similar situations [family issues] this season and decided not to make it public,” Chmerkovskiy said.

Not a stranger to the public arena, show-business-veteran Marie had to carry on dancing this season even with the loss of her father and her 16-year-old son’s recent entry into rehab.

                                                              

With the competition in a possible three-way dead heat between Helio Castroneves and partner Julianne Hough and Osmond and her partner Jonathan Roberts, Maksim announced he will pull away from the gate with a not-so-secret-weapon—good-old-fashion sex appeal. Warning his partner Spice Girl Mel B is pulling out the stops in a most revealing costume. “She’s going to be showing a lot of skin,” he revealed. “The most skin the show has ever seen.” Dancing with the Stars—The Results airs tonight, Tuesday at 9 eastern, 8 central.
