High School’s Ashley’s Not So Musical

                                                                

Shades of Ashley Simpson! Another Ashley has let a job of really bad lip-synching jeopardize her credibility. High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale gets an “F” for the dismal lip-synching performance she gave on the 75th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockefeller Center. The holiday special aired Wednesday evening on NBC. 

 I winced watching Ashley clumsily dance (if you call awkwardly moving her hips every now and then dancing), and sing a horrible rendition of Wham’s “Last Christmas”.  (I thought I was watching a dress rehearsal!). The only thing sparkling about her performance was the purple-sequined jumper she wore with matching tights and turtleneck!     

                                                                  

                                                           

It makes you wonder how much of her talent is simply a product of the ole Disney P.R. machine. However, I’m willing to give Miss Tisdale the benefit of the doubt and blame at least a portion of her embarrassingly amateurish performance on the local station’s bad broadcasting effects. Bah Humbug!
